~+Physical Appearance+~

Dorothy 'Lula' Bennett. Flapper_Girl_by_Model_TiffanyBlack

General Description/Facial Features: It's no surprise with Dorothy's upbringing that she is indeed a southern belle. Her jaw line is suprisingly strong but is cancelled out with her high risen cheek bones giving her an almost regal look. Her extremely rounded large set eyes soften her striking facial structure giving her 'cushy' element. Granted with her mothers large shapely lips her face can sometimes out of proportion, (with her eyes looking as if they are too large for her face.) Giving you something to remember it by.

Height & Body Type: Standing at a generous 5'4 Dorothy is extremely slender with a pinched in waist and shapely hips and thighs. Her legs seem to go on forever and are her best asset; being a dancer her legs are toned and a little muscular which is slightly odd in comparison to her thin arms and rounded shoulders.

Eyes: Probably one of the most noticeable features of her. Dorothy's eyes are perfectly rounded (almost perfect circles,) and are an excessive size.

Skin Tone: With her general dislike towards the sun her skin tone is very pale, giving her a flawless china doll essence.

Scars: A large scar all the way down her chest between her breasts, but can rarely be seen due to her clothing choice.

Type of Dresser: Like most women in the 1920's Dorothy has taken the opportunity of the newly sprung individualism and is always up to date with the latest fashions, taking her clothing inspiration from her fashion idol 'Coco Chanel'. Sometimes her fashion choices are shocking much to the dismay of her family. Wearing things that would be considered frowned upon in the previous years.

Hair Color & Style: Just like many women her hair is in the very fashionable short finger waves style. (A traditional flapper hairstyle)

Tattoos/Piercings: None

~+Personality & Such+~

Disabilities: Dorothy suffers with a genetic heart condition known as Familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy - Thi is a complex heart disease that may be caused by one of 900 known mutations on 12 different genes. The condition causes a thickening of the heart muscle wall. While it may cause no symptoms in some people, it can lead to fainting, chest pain, shortness of breath or (in rare cases) sudden death.

Mental State: Perfectly sane.

Talents & Skills: Dorothy has been blessed with an phenomenal natural ability to dance, this talent does not go unnoticed. She also has a handy talent for clothes designing and is a talented seamstress.

Activities/Hobbies/Pastimes: Apart from dancing, Dorothy has very few real interests but rather enjoys flaunting her new found freedom under the noses of the prejudiced and the 'old fashioned'. Going to nightclubs and bars is one of her favourite past times as she thrives in the modern environment. She also indulges in designing and altering clothes for herself, making every outfit personalized and unique.

Self-Image : It's easily picked up that Dorothy is no insecure quiet little girl. She makes her presence known and is comfortable with her own person. She doesn't see herself as vain or arrogant but merely just a grounded confident woman.

Weakness: Due to her heart condition things like sudden shocks could set her off into cardiac arrest, along with any hard compressions to her chest. She is also unable to swim.

Overall Personality: Her personality has several sides - she can be seen as civil and a polite pleasant person but get on the wrong side of her and it is another story. She is a 'free spirit' and likes to think of herself as a bit of a feminist, she is extremely stubborn and has a one track mind. Her temper although usually concealed has a habit of rearing it's ugly head. She is a tycoon making her way to the top and finds it easy to cut off all emotional ties, and doesn't mind stepping on people on her way up.

Best Personality Trait: Ambitious - Dorothy is rearing to get her teeth into sweet success and will stop at nothing to get what she achieves, she can also be very encouraging and prompt others to aim for the sky and never let go of their dreams.

Worst Personality Trait: Two faced/Promiscuous - In blatant words Dorothy is a bitch, she can smile to your face and then spit at the back of your head. She is able to make friends in which she can be feircly loyal too, but this is a rarity. She is also known as promiscuous she has a taste for Men, rich men and doesn't care who knows it. She cares for little, including people. Some could call her self indulged.

Fears: Dying (specifically drowning), Being forced to go home, and public humiliation.

Sexuality: Hetrosexual

Thoughts on love & Relationships: "Men are a luxury, not a necessity, and i just love luxuries, a lot of them and especially rich ones. "

Relationship History: More interested in flings and one night stands, due to being very high maintenance , she is yet to find a man that can keep up with her.

General Likes: Night life, Dancing, Men, Alcohol, Fashion, Animals.

General Dislikes: Older generation, Office jobs, Boredom, Reading.

Usually Equipped With: A hip flask filled with bootleg alcohol, this is usually strapped around her stomach out of view, because of the prohibition. She is never leaves her apartment without having a handbag that matches her outfit, within this handbag are key things, make-up, money, perfume... oh and a small knife for security reasons.

~+Background+~

Mother: Ileen Betsy Bennett

Mother's role in upbringing: Her mother was a very gentle woman, who always encouraged her children to chase their dreams and fully supported them. For a long time Ileen was Dorothy's biggest inspiration, until she got a mind of her own. Ileen secretly pushed Dorothy to travel the world in search for her dream, not wanting her daughter to follow the same disdained simple life style as herself.

Father: Hoyt Thomas Bennett

Father's role in upbringing: Her father was extremely strict and pressured all his daughters to the simple country life, harshly trying the shape them into respectable young ladies. Wishing them to marry a good man and have a family of their own, without straying too far from the family ranch. He was very against the idea of his youngest daughter to leave at such a young age trying to pursue her in his eyes 'silly' dreams.

Family Finances: They lived a very simple life, a good life but very simple without many material items at all.

Birth Order & Siblings: Dorothy was the youngest of six, (four girls including Dorothy and three boys.)

Relationships with Siblings: Her siblings often scolded her for thinking too much about the material things of life, and equally scolded her for the lack of faith she seemed to have in 'God'. Dorothy got on best with the oldest of all the children Jason. But lacked interest with all the others.

Education: She was home schooled up until age of 16 (which is when she left home). Her knowledge of subjects is standard. But what she lacks in textbook intelligence, she more than makes up for in street smarts and common sense.

Ethnic Heritage: A deep south American through and through.

Accent: She has a very strong heavy southern American accent. (Like one from Texas/Louisiana)

History: Born and raised in the small village of Dixie Inn, Louisiana, United States. Her early life was very basic, living on her families ranch without many materialistic items, she was brought up in a strict male dominated religious environment. Home schooled at the local parish chapel Dorothy showed signs of serious religious doubt, and lack of faith. Often called a 'doubting Thomas' a biblical term used to describe someone who is ill of faith. At the age of 13 she suffered a rare heart condition which made her very ill for about 2 years, after botchy attempted surgery leaving her with a large scar down her chest. She decided at the age of 16 she was going to pursue her dream of traveling to Europe, and become a professional dancer. She packed up her things and left her family home for the first time in her life. From country to country, hitchhiking rides from England to Austria. She finally settled in Paris. Finding herself in such a cultural beautiful city she found herself a job at a local speak-easy as one of the lead Showgirls. She also makes her living by a bit of dodgy illegal distribution of alcohol and selling customized clothes at the same speak-easy. She is currently on her way up the social ladder mixing in with all the wrong (but very rich) people. Hoping to catch a break and become a success.

Languages Spoken: English, French.

Religion: Atheist (Although she was brought up as a Christian)
